Recently I went through a caeserian section  during the delivery of my little girl. As a second time CS mum, I could almost vividly remember what I went through after the birth of my son. I remember pain. A lot of pain and especially after I had gone home. My boy was barely two weeks old when we hosted a bunch of friends. I believe that partly due to pain medication and partly due to the fact that I was new to the family and did not want to look like a ‘softie’, I played it cool and sat down for almost six hours entertaining guests. Now, those who have gone through a major operation, especially a c-section can bare me witness when I talk of this pain, especially when you are not on really strong pain meds.
